hello! my name is abigail, and im a 16 y/o self-taught web designer living in rural ohio

i enjoy shopping vintage fashion, listening to obscure music, and creating various forms of art (among many other things)

i am the oldest of three, two girls and one boy. we have a chocolate lab named penny and a calico-maine coon mix (weird combo, i know) named tyson.

now that the basics are out of the way: i'd consider myself an introvert, and im sure the people around me would, too. however, i have a pretty eccentric style that might make people think the opposite. i love brightly colored glasses, lots of silver jewelry, hair accessories, scarves, hats, and most importantly: obscure shoes. you can see my collection here!

i enjoy waking up early with a mug of hot earl grey, oolong, english rose or green tea, shopping for my favorite brands on secondhand shops, surfing the indie web, and hanging out with my family when im not out at school or with friends.

i found neocities through the ranfren comics during the last year of covid in my state (2022.) it led me down a rabbithole of the absolute glory of neocities; the creativity, the community, all of which i had no idea existed. i was 13 at the time and had only known the generic social media apps up until that moment, not even knowing about geocities, so you can imagine my awe being a passionate artist finding a community full of passionate people.

i started my coding journey the same day, creating my first website. i abandoned it for whatever reason on jan. 26 of 2022, as seen on the "last updated" marquee :') however, it taught me a lot about the basics of coding as i scanned the source codes of various neocities websites and spent hours on stackoverflow & w3schools. the next day, jan. 27th, i created this site!
